Die 1895 gegründete Naturfreundebewegung zählt mit 350.000 Mitgliedern zu den größten Nichtregierungsorganisationen weltweit. Unsere Mitglieder sind in Ortsgruppen/Sektionen aktiv und werden durch Regional-, Landes- und Bundesverbände vertreten.

Die Naturfreunde Internationale (NFI) ist der Dachverband über rund 45 nationale Mitgliedsorganisationen und Mitglied der Green 10, einer Plattform der zehn größten europäischen Umwelt-NGOs.

Die Naturfreunde sind eine demokratisch organisierte Bewegung, die sich für ökologische und sozialpolitische Themen einsetzt. Ziel unserer Aktivitäten ist eine nachhaltige Entwicklung von Umwelt und Gesellschaft auf regionaler, nationaler und globaler Ebene.

Der freie Zugang zur Natur für alle Menschen ist seit jeher ein zentrales Anliegen der Naturfreunde. Wir fördern inklusives Naturerleben mit konkreten Aktivitäten und Kampagnen.

• Nachhaltigen Tourismus

Wir setzen uns für eine ökologisch, sozial und kulturell verträgliche Entwicklung des Tourismus ein.

• Naturvermittlung

Wir vermitteln biologische Vielfalt und motivieren zu einem rücksichtsvollen Aufenthalt in der Natur.

• Klimaschutz und Klimagerechtigkeit

Wir schaffen Bewusstsein für den Klimaschutz und organisieren Kampagnen für mehr Klimagerechtigkeit.

• Nachhaltige Regionalentwicklung

Wir unterstützen Regionen mit konkreten Aktivitäten bei der Etablierung eines nachhaltigen Tourismus.

• Diversität und interkulturellen Austausch

Wir initiieren interkulturelle Projekte und Begegnungen und setzen uns für ein respektvolles Miteinander ein.

The Naturefriends movement was founded in 1895 and ranks amongst the largest non-governmental organisations around the globe. Our 350,000 members are active in local groups/sections and are represented by regional, federal and national associations.

We raise awareness for climate protection and organise campaigns for more climate justice.

We support regions in establishing sustainable tourism by organising specific activities.

We initiate intercultural projects and encounters and we champion respectful coexistence.
