In 2015, the Member States of the United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a shared framework for prosperity, justice, and sustainability. The Agenda outlines ambitious goals and calls for collective action to address the pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges facing humanity.
At Sustainable Development Together, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to meaningfully engage in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We created this platform to empower civil society to take action, collaborate, and contribute effectively to sustainable development.
Our work supports individuals, grassroots initiatives, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders in turning commitment into impact. We connect people and organizations with initiatives, projects, knowledge, and partnerships that strengthen action across the SDGs—whether through volunteering, advocacy, capacity building, innovation, or collaboration.
We also work with organizations to design impactful initiatives, mobilize participation, and build the partnerships needed to advance their missions and maximize their contribution to the SDGs.
In addition, Sustainable Development Together actively promotes inclusive and effective civil society engagement across sectors. By fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and supporting innovation, we help create an environment where impactful SDG-related action can grow, evolve, and scale over time.
We are independent and not affiliated with any political party, religious group, or commercial entity.

Our Vision
Our vision is to foster an open, global community of civil society actors—including individuals, NGOs, intergovernmental and governmental organizations, and businesses—working collaboratively to actively and effectively advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this collaboration, we seek to bring the principle of inclusive multilateralism, as articulated in the 2015 global agreements, to life in practice.
In this vision, everyone has the opportunity and responsibility to participate in meaningful action on the SDGs—through engagement, collaboration, innovation, advocacy, and implementation. Together, these collective efforts drive tangible progress toward the SDGs, support sustainable and shared global well-being, and establish citizen and civil society engagement as an essential pillar of action for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Our Mission
Our mission at Sustainable Development Together is to empower civil society to act collaboratively on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We work with organizations across sectors to design, support, and create space for inclusive initiatives that translate the SDGs into concrete, impactful action.
We inform and enable participation by connecting people, organizations, knowledge, and resources, and by creating accessible spaces for collaboration, engagement, and innovation. Through these efforts, we empower citizens and stakeholders to contribute in meaningful ways and to collectively drive measurable progress toward the SDGs.
